Containment Solutions When attention to detail counts ! Containment

Containment Systems operating under negative pressure protect personnel from being exposed to products and migrating to the surrounding area. Shown here is a state-of-the-art IMA Tablet Press fully integrated with a SafeLine Metal Checker and Kraemer DeDuster. The entire system has been fully automated to allow for tilting and docking of an IBC utilizing a Glatt Split Butterfly Valve. The entire system is controlled from an Allen Bradley PLC in conjunction with a touch screen Panel View HMI. Decontamination after the production cycle is achieved by an automated WIP system interfaced with the IMA CIP skid. The entire system is washed starting at the IBC discharge station, followed by the tablet press, the Containment System including the deduster and metal checker and ending with a rinse of the split butterfly valve. This is a very complex system that requires significant attention to detail in order to reliably function in a repeatable sequence.
